I do check out your various webite locations from time to time.
I love all your photos on facebook. I will make an effort to keep track of your gigs that might welcome a traveling vagabond such as myself. A problem recently arose however in that I just today received word that the Crown Po9nt bridge has been closed indefinitely. That makes for a nasty commute to the New York side pour moi.

Thanks for your comments!
I no longer live in Cohoes. Now I work in the Bronx but "my heart" dwells all along the Hudson, Lake George and Champlain.
AS a nurse I have worked in hospitals in towns along the waterline- Glens Falls, Saratoga, Albany, Benedictine in Kingston and now in the Bronx!
Many of my cousins, Past and present are in the Cambridge, Salem, and Greenwich areas. Many a time, I've driven from Troy through Melrose and Easton and Waterford to Whitehall!
I hope to check you in action one of these days in Saratoga. If I wasn't planning to be at the Champlain Symposium I would probably be listening in Saratoga!
Hope to keep in touch and thanks for the invite to know you a wee bit more.
John,
Sorry about the weather event to cancel your plans recently for your CT trip.
For me, after going this last time Dec. 18, I don't think I'm going to go very often to the jams. I will be recovering from a surgery in mid-January for a while and with winter, the drive is too far for me since I still work and don't like snow and ice. The music seems to focus primarily on the strong fiddle players recently so my interest is on the wane. Time will tell. Happy new year.

Yeah they'll be linin' up at the border to come and see VEV. We have to be there by 4 on Friday for sound checks. If you arrive early look for me and we can have dinner together.

Marinelli's Supper Club is at 175 Monce rd, Burlington, a stones throw from the Bristol town line. The directions are on Mapquest.com. It starts at 7:30 pm.
As for motels, I checked for you on line and found Clarion Hotel Bristol-42 Century Dr. Bristol; and Quality Inn and Suites-395 Winstead Drive, Torrington. I am not sure if you want atmosphere and swimming pools....
If you want to meet with me earlier in the day or for supper let me know. I understand that they have a buffet at Marinelli's.
My sister, Jeannette Lazlo (also on the web site) will be going with her button accordion. There were abut 5 people playing last week, but I expect more next time. Some of the Bristol fiddlers go there and they had a gig last week.
Several people in the audience came up to sing. But Danny could play alone.
Bring your voices. I saw your video on Canada. I can't seem to locate the second one again.
A toute a l'heure.

Hi
It's interesting that you have a duo. I always wished to marry a musician/singer but it didn't happen that way. Curiously I have a duo called "Two Bit Act.". Me and my pal Leo Dumas who also can sing and play drums guitar etc.http://www.rogerchartier.com/twobitact.html
Now I have to explore your music and your info here. This is a great social network. Roger Chartier

Hi!
I'm so glad Danny had a good time at the AFF. It would be wonderful having both of you here next year! You have a place to stay if you come!
I will definitely see you at Chants next weekend. When are the 2 of you heading up? Sue, Benoit, Nick and I are coming up on Thursday.
See you there!
Liz
Great! See you in a couple of weeks then! This will be my first trip to Memoire. I'm looking forward to it.
I will make a point to look for Danny at the American Folk Festival next month!

Hello John and Vonnie,
It was nice meeting you in St. Albans. See you at Memoire et Racines? ...if not, I'm sure we'll meet up at Chants de Vielles!
Take care,
Liz

Hi there!! I haven't gone to Longueil since birth! :-) We actually go to Cabano, AuClaire and St. Georges yearly (my family lives out there). I would love to go to the dances and maybe I will go with my husband and/or cousins!

How much French still exists in New England?

Vonnie sent me over from Chez Yankois to check out your page here and on MySpace. I love what I'm hearing on your MySpace playlist!
