Bonjour Laurent,
The invite came through perfectly! It certainly sounds like a potentially
explosive group of folks having French lineage. I will let you know my plans later on this Summer but as of now I have a conflict with previous
scheduled engagements :( Thank you so much for remembering me.
Just a note that my French music group has a new website at www.vaetvient.net and our first CD of all french music should be out on July 18.
Good morning, and Happy Fourth of July!/Bon matin, et JOYEUX QUATRE JUILLET! I'm glad to see that you enjoy traditional French and Irish music. I grew up around this music and I too have loved it for years! I see you describe yourself as French-Canadian instead of French-American or Franco-American. Donc, j'imagine que vous parlez encore couramment la langue, hein? Vous pouvez m'envoyer un petit commentaire si le coeur vous en dit. Je vous laisse, en criant... Swing your partner to the right, UN DEMI-TOUR A DROITE! Swing your partner to the left, UN DEMI-TOUR A GAUCHE! Et on SWINGUE LA COMPAGNIE!
Thank you Laurent for the reply. I look forward to hearing more about your music gathering as we get closer to the date. Until then I hope your new year is adorned with many good tunes.

Bonjour Laurent,
I am a member of a French Music trio from Vermont called Va-et-Vient and I would be grateful if you would share some information about the Brennan Farm event and when and where it takes place. Merci Beaucoup,
George Dunne
I was happy to see you at the fiddle jam heldat Le Foyer. Thank you for the lessons on using the Cuillere and especially for sharing some of the maple sugar syrop from your cousin's farm. I also found you cousin Monique's song book of old French Canadian songs very interesting. I'm glad Roger will be making scans to post on the Le Foyer web site. Votre Ami Ray Patnaude

I finally joined the group. Passing info to mon pere - I think he would enjoy going to some of these events.
à bientôt! Renee
