French In New England

How much French still exists in New England?

I hope this is not considered abusing site privileges however
I would like to announce to all the French in New England members
that my music ensemble, Va-et-vient has just released our first CD
titled Porte ouverte. The CD contains 15 selections of French chansons
and instrumentals that you might enjoy for your own listening or as gifts for
presenting to French speaking friends. At this point it may be purchased on the
internet at CDBaby or from the link on our website, www.vaetvient.net.

And so you should have enjoyment for the entire process of ordering, receiving, opening and listening.
I hope your smile continues throughout the process.

Mary Beth-

Thanks for your order with CD Baby!

USPS

(1) Va-et-vient: Porte ouverte

Your CD has been gently taken from our CD Baby shelves with sterilized contamination-free gloves and placed onto a satin pillow.
A team of 50 employees inspected your CD and polished it to make sure it was in the best possible condition before mailing.
Our packing specialist from Japan lit a candle and a hush fell over the crowd as he put your CD into the finest gold-lined box that money can buy.
We all had a wonderful celebration afterwards and the whole party marched down the street to the post office where the entire town of Portland waved "Bon Voyage!" to your package, on its way to you, in our private CD Baby jet on this day, September 14, 2009.
We hope you had a wonderful time shopping at CD Baby. In commemoration, we have placed your picture on our wall as "Customer of the Year." We're all exhausted but can't wait for you to come back to CDBABY.COM!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Sigh...
We miss you already. We'll be right here at http://cdbaby.com/, patiently awaiting your return.

Mary Beth,
You may be going to our old website at indie911. We since have changed our web page to www.vaetvient.net . This should get you to our schedule and the link to CDbaby to purchase our CD or if you
find that you just want to sample a song or two you can download the digital version by song. Sorry for the confusion. We have not had a good experience with the New World Festival in that they do not respond to our
requests for invitation to perform. Perhaps if you sent them a note expressing who you would like to see at their festival it would make a difference. I am glad to hear that you appreciate our music and I look forward to
meeting you at one of our concerts.

OK!!!!
I have been waiting for this...
I saw you folks play last year in Vergennes and really enjoyed it???
I checked your website a few times in the past year and didn't see anything.

I went to the New World Music Festival last week (drove from White Plains) and was hoping VaEtVient might be there. I rather broke my CD budget but I think I can scrounge around and get one more..

Thanks for putting up this news for folks like me who like to sing along in my car with the windows rolled up.
