Thanks again for letting me know about the unveiling of the restored portrait
of Dr. Louis Z. Normandin at the Normandin Middle School, You and your associates
did a tremendous job in honoring this great Franco-American, "the Father of the French-
Canadians in New Bedford". This pediatrician's inspirational life would make an
excellent subject for a children's book.
Though the unveiling was reported on WBSM the next day, I am furious at the
The Standard Times for neither letting the public know when this important
event was to take place nor reporting on it after the fact. Not one word of
acknowledgement from our hometown newspaper!
I may event write a letter to the Standard Times venting
my discontent at their disservice to the Franco-American
community.

Love your photos taken at the Samuel De Champlain monument.
I will be looking foward to any more photos you have pertaining
to the old country or to the Franco-American community in
New England.

P.S. Hope everything is going well with the book you are
writing with Professor Armand Chartier
The photo at Chatam is great - just as you said. Have added it to my photos.
Again MERCI BEAUCOUP
I have a funeral to attend on Saturday, hope to be at the Farmer's Market later in the afternoon. Not sure what time Mariann's group is playing.
See you soon,
Roger
I hope you can make it on Sept 27 at Le Foyer. Daniel will be the opening act followed by Gens de plaisir!
