- I grew up in Acushnet, MA where at the time, a lot of French was spoken. My grandparents spoke French in the home. My mother and her siblings understand French but don't speak it. I grew to learn French throughout childhood. I studied French in high school, majored in French Literature in college and studied at the University of Paris in 1985/1986. Professionally, I executed market research studies in France and later became an advertising account manager responisible for Quebec for International Data Group. I now work as a marketing manager for the BBC.
