- Born in Fitchburg, MA to parents of Canadian ancestry. Went to French speaking Roman Catholic parochial school and attended Mass on Sundays to French speaking priests.
My father comes from Richibouctou, NB CA and my mother was born in Maine. Her parents come from Grand Dique, NB CA.
I wrote a book about the Acadians and the Grand Derangement. It is called The Acadian, available at Amazon.com
