Thanks for reading and commenting on my piece in the
Standard Times. I hope they print your response. Though
you and I obviously disagree on several points, I do agree
with you that reparations to descendants of slaves is
absolutely absurd. I think even President Obama disagrees
with this ludicrous concept.
Incidently, I also attended U Mass Dartmouth, where I
majored in and graduated with a bachelors in history. Welcome
to this blog. I have learned a lot about French-Canadian and
Franco-American history and culture through my fellow bloggers.
