It seems we now have the 18th of Dec. free. If the weather is good we think we'll come. Could you give us more details and the name of decent motel near by. It would be great to play with you all. we never played with Dan - he's always been to busy talking or romancing.

Actually we live in the Albany, N.Y. area, out in the country, about 5 miles from Greenwich, N.Y.

Got your comment, it may not appear on our page because I did something wrong. My wife plays the piano. It sounds like we should get together. We'll have to get Danny to join us on fiddle. He lives down your way. Maurice Mercier lives close to me, so there's another accordion.

About Me:
I play the jew's harp(bonbarbe) and a little spoons and less fiddle. Ilike Quebecois music - mostly traditional.
My parents and sister were born in Quebec Province and immigrated in the 1940's.
I often played spoons to the 78 rpm records my mother obtained from Canada.
I am a retired statistician and statistical programmer. While working for the government I helped the people there to learn to use data from computers as the revolution took place. Since retiring in 2006 my sister, Jeannette Lazlo asked me to play spoons and bonbarbe withe her accordion. We have gone to jams and played with a few friends in public on occasion.
I have a son who graduated college recently.
My favorite Canadian foods are tortiere, pate chinois, choux roulee and cretons. Ragout and six-pates are rare treats.
My exposure to French started with my first word "maman", my family, uncle and aunt, trips to relatives in Canada and finally several years in high school and college.
