Hi Don, we do have a few Damboise from Maine coming so far, I guess they seen all our posts online. But it would be nice to reach some who do not know about the reunion. This is our first one so I am hoping it will be a huge success. Bergeron and Da…
It's very far for us since we're a small weekly serving communities along the St. John River. But I will tell Damboise about your reunion. We had a Levesque reunion in Madawaska, Maine, in 1996, and had more than 1,000 people show up. It was fantast…

Ann how did you make your raffle? we are having a reunion in July for Bergeron-Damboise, I have prizes to give and am going to have an auction on a painting, do you have any suggestion on how I should do this?
Aline
I just made $642 this week working from home for google. I cant believe how easy this is. Im recommending this to everyone, check out this guys google blog makemoneywith-google.com
actually, Acadian Day in Maine is June 28. That is the approximate date that the Acadian refuggees came to Saint David, near Madawaska.
We are playing three times at Madawaska's 33rd Acadian Festival. We play on June 25, 26, 27. The Acadian Festival always include June 28. The festival vegins on Thursday and winds up Sunday night.
I had them done at Brady Screenprint here in Biddeford, Maine. I had white crew neck for the men and a white scoop neck for the women's t's. Check prices with your local screenprinter. They are usually not that expensive purchased in bulk. I think some of the people in the photos of the 2009 and 2005 RRVs are wearing the t shirts. For the 2009, since it was in Quebec, I had them printed in French or English.
Aline,
I also designed some t-shirts and we took orders prior to the reunion - I ordered a few extra and was able to sell quite a few of the extras. We did well with those.
For the raffle, we asked for donations of items from our Association and Forum members. I printed up some raffle tickets and we sold them at $1.00 each or a book of 6 for $5.00 We had some really nice items: a tapestry bag, some t-shirts, etc. The previous RRVs we had more items. The auction was a silent auction sponsored by the Association. You place sign up/bid sheets by the items and people keep bidding until the auction is over. check out the 2 pgs of 2007 items: http://www.geocities.com/rrendezvous2007/raffleitems.html
